The breed was developed for fox hunting in the area around the border of England and Scotland.
Border terrier's coats come in shades of red, wheaten grizzle, tan or blue and tan and it is very easy to keep and maintain.

History -The breed was developed for hunting vermin in the area around the border of England and Scotland. First appearing around 1860.
